There are about 30 different walks in and around Port Hinchinbrook and Hinchinbrook Island which highlight the uniqueness of this World Heritage Area.

Dalrymple Gap Walking Track
Located 15km south of Cardwell, the 10km Dalrymple Gap walking track will take you back to 1864 when you discover the original stone bridge along the way.
Edmund Kennedy National Park
Wander along 3-5kms of boardwalk through forest and mangroves. Located 4kms north of Port Hinchinbrook with views of Rockingham Bay and nearby Hinchinbrook Island.
Cardwell State Forest Lookout
Get the best views of the Hinchinbrook Channel from the lookout which is reached by driving south on the Bruce Highway for 35 kilometres. You will see the parking area at the top of the hill as it is well signed.
